Your details, and what happens to them
Short version: this website keeps almost nothing itself. What you type into a form reaches us as an email and as an enquiry in the gym’s management system, so we can follow it up.
The short version
This website itself keeps almost nothing — no accounts, no payments, nothing stored on the site. When you send us a message it reaches us two ways: as an email in our inbox, and as an enquiry in the gym’s management system, so we can follow it up properly. Nothing more.
What you send us
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, optionally your phone number, and your message. The shorter form on the About page asks only for a name and an email address.
Submitting either one sends those details to us as an email and records them as an enquiry in the gym’s management system, so we can follow up. They are not added to a mailing list and not passed to anyone for advertising. We use them to answer you.
We keep that email and enquiry for as long as we need to help you and to keep our own records, and no longer than necessary. Ask us to delete it and we will.
What we don’t have
No account for you to log into, so no password of yours to lose. No payments taken on this site, so no card or bank details anywhere near it. No advertising or tracking pixels, and nothing that follows you to other websites.
The fonts are served from our own domain rather than fetched from Google, so loading a page doesn’t tell anyone else that you did.
Who else is involved
Virtuagymis the gym’s member-management and CRM system. When you submit a form, your name, email, phone and message are sent there as an enquiry, so we can manage it and follow up. It isn’t used for advertising.
Resend delivers the form as an email. Your name, email, phone and message pass through their system on the way to our inbox, the way any email does.
Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, their servers log requests — including IP addresses — to serve pages and to defend against abuse.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure loading times, only if you allow analyticsin the cookie banner. If you don’t, the scripts are never loaded. They set no cookies and don’t follow you elsewhere. The cookie policy has the detail.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can ask for a copy. You can object to us using it. There’s no form for this — message us and a person will handle it.
If you think we’ve got it wrong and we can’t resolve it between us, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
